Replacing Rewind Belt On Raffin 31/119 Organ
By Terry Bender

My Raffin 31/119 rewind belt has been successfully replaced. Thanks
for the various responses to my query. A Raffin organ owner in
Australia set me on the path to final success.

Part of the problem lay in the fact that, since the belt had never been
replaced before, some of the screws and plates that had to be removed
were still very firmly embedded. This required more force/torque than
I was initially ready to apply.

I am still interested in learning whether anyone on the East Coast or
"near" Midwest has a Raffin 20/67 or 20/78 that I could "visit" to test
out some rags from Harald Mueller.
