I have some extremely phenomenal news: my very first band organ
roll, No. 6880, arranged by the very talented Andy Park (along with
the kind support and guidance of Glenn Thomas), has been perforated.
The roll contains several hits I love and cherish from the early
1950s and '60s by popular and well-known artists such as Jimmie
Rodgers, Peter, Paul And Mary, and Three Dog Night.
In addition to this roll, two other brand new Style 165 band organ
rolls have been issued as well: roll No. 6881, which is a special
tribute roll by Mikey Mills to the circus since Barnum & Bailey
recently met their demise this year, and roll No. 6882, the second
volume of lost Wurlitzer 165 tunes arranged by Rich Olsen in early
Wurlitzer-Style.
Lastly, plans for a second roll to be commissioned to Andy Park in
the future of next year is also in store along with all the money
I have received from relatives this year to save towards its
production. My next roll will feature well-known classics like Strike
Up The Band, Theme From New York, New York, and Ole Buttermilk Sky.
