I bought a 10-key serinette way back in 2007 from an auction in the
USA (Concord, Massachusetts). I have only now just started to rebuild
this small organ. Unfortunately the entire key frame is missing.
While I can probably copy some parts from pictures found on-line,
I would really like some accurate dimensions of both the bar across
the top, the wooden finger sizes that locate under this and how they
are pivoted beneath this and the strikers (size, shape, material)
that rub onto the pinned barrel and would be located on the end of
these fingers.
Also, does anyone know a source for replacement lead/tin pipes for
serinettes, as only seven pipes sound and one is in two pieces. I can
probably play with these and I might be able to repair them but it
would be handy to find replacements if this fails.
