Living in France and being 82, and now moving out of our château,
I am looking for a home for my Aeolian Orchestrelle. It is a Model W,
as illustrated on the bottom left-hand corner of page 778 of the
Encyclopedia of Automatic Musical Instruments by David Bowers (Vestal
Press, 1972). It doesn't work and is not complete, but should provide
lots of parts for anyone restoring such an organ. I do not ask for
any payment -- this is a gift.
Alternatively, if you know of anyone, or any organisation, that might
be interested, I would appreciate the contact. It seems such a shame
just to throw it away! I hope that it may interest one of your
readers.
Many thanks,
Nick Perry,
Château de la Buthière, Usson-du-Poitou 86350 France
