Broken Music Box Spring
By Gabriel Garcia

Hello, I recently purchased a second-hand music box to store my
cufflinks in. I see the movement works fine when I manually turn
the key to produce the sound. The governor does not seem to be
stuck on anything, and I do get some resistance when winding the
key properly, clicks and all.

So I'm not sure why the device is not playing the music on its own.
My intuition tells me it is a broken clock spring or a clock spring
that's come loose, but I don't know how to check. Any help would be
greatly appreciated, cheers.
