FS Free: Piano Rolls in Los Angeles
By Timothy L'Amoureux
I have inherited nine boxes of 88-note piano rolls that I must move on
-- approximately 450 rolls -- and one box (thirty count) of 65-note
rolls. Any takers must take either all the 88-note rolls or all the
65-note rolls or both.
The collection consists of everything from newer QRS rolls to very old
original 1910s, 1920s, and ??? If there are no takers, the collection
will be donated to Out-of-the-Closet or any other charity that will
take them.
Unfortunately I am not in the position of being able to ship them, so
local pickup is the only possibility. For reference, I live in the
Hollywood area of Los Angeles between the Hollywood Bowl and Universal
Studios. The closest major cross-streets are Barham Blvd and Cahuenga
Blvd East. Google Maps can give you directions based on that
intersection.
The rolls are currently stored in the back of my RAV4-EV and is garaged
so they are currently safe from the ravages of the heat that is
currently plaguing Los Angeles.
