Polyphon Medallion
By John Kane

I just received a Polyphon "medal" I purchased. It is slightly
thicker than an older English penny and is the exact size of the
typical Polyphon metal "label" (except the medal is either copper or
possibly bronze) found in most of their upright machines.

Has anyone encountered something like this before? I was wondering if
it may have been one half of a punch and die set used to create the
soft metal labels in upright machines. Any info greatly appreciated!
