I have a player piano that was given to me over 40 years ago. It is
a Bush and Lane piano, carrying the Farrand-Cecilian brand. It has
a two-level pneumatic stack with metal manifolds. The pneumatics have
been rebuilt, but little else has been done.
At the time, I attempted to do some restoration work on it, lacking
the knowledge on how to do it properly. The instrument was left in
the weather for some period of time before I got it, so, as you can
imagine, it has issues.
I intend to disassemble this piano and dispose of it, as I am no longer
in a position to deal with it. I want to salvage the usable lumber
from the case, as well as the soundboard (tone wood).
If anyone on the list needs mechanism parts from it, please let me
know.
