Artrio-Angelus "Genius Immortal", AMICA Reprint
By Allen Ford

Hi All, I have an extra copy of the AMICA reprint, "Genius Immortal",
reprinted by AMICA in 1992. I do not know if these are still available
from AMICA. Those people interested in the Artrio-Angelus system that
do not have this reprint might ask the publisher of AMICA about
obtaining a copy. The topics covered in this 24-page, 8-1/2 by 11 inch
document are

* Introduction written by J. H. White.
* A picture of wall pier mirror showing concert artist playing in hall;
  in front of same is an Artrio-Angelus piano.

* One page history "From Clavicord to Artrio".
* Two pages "The Development of the Pianoforte".
* Two pages "The Development of the Player Piano".
* Two pages "The Artrio-Angelus".
* Two pages "How Artrio-Angelus Records Are Made".
* Two pages Artrio-Angelus Grand, Artrio-Angelus Upright.
* One page written by and photo of Mr. P.K. Van Yorx,
  director of music, "Genius Immortalized".

* Three pages photos and very brief histories of the artists Yolanda
  Mero, Ossip Gabrilowitsch, Herma Menth, Ethel Leginska, Tina Lerner,
  Beryl Rubinstein.

* One page two lists: "The following pianists have recorded their
  interpretations for the Artrio-Angelus, many EXCLUSIVELY for this
  instrument:", "Endorsements The ANGELUS has been endorsed by the
  following artists of world wide renown and also by many others
  equally prominent:.

* One pages "The House of Wilcox & White" three photos J.H. White,
  H.K. White, and F.C. White.
* One page "In Conclusion"
* One page photo of Angelus medallion

* Last page about the reprint and the original supplied by Terry Smythe
  This reprint is extremely well done with the cover being heavy green
  paper with lettering and Angelus medallion in gold.
