Trio-Art Player Mechanism & Welte Rolls
By Richard Groman

Greetings from Keystone Music Rolls! I recently went to look at
a "player piano" owned by one of our local families here in town.
I wonder if anyone can help me identify what exactly it is.

The upright piano is a Paul G. Mehlin & Sons with a Trio-Art
mechanism installed. The unit is electric with some kind of
expression or reproducing components installed in the bottom.
The tracker bar is basically standard holes, all in line, with one
hole on the left side directly under the first and second hole
(probably for motor shut off). What type of rolls did this play?

Also, Keystone has just finished re-cutting about 40 Welte DeLuxe
popular word roll titles for all of the Welte fans out there.
