Kevin,  For your use on the Wurlitzer dump valve I would recommend
Columbia Organ Leathers and order their CPL Valve Leather, double
buffed.  They will sell a 6" x 12" inch piece for about $12.25.

I would also use Columbia High-Tack Fish Glue.  It is an all-purpose
old-fashioned adhesive that is easy to use and completely removable
anytime in the future.  Fish glue liquid can be used on any wood and
leather where you don't need the ultimate strength of hot hide glue.

In my opinion the people at Columbia are always friendly, helpful
and willing to handle small orders as well as large.
