Seek Peerless 44-note Rolls for Recutting
By Don Teach

Over the past ten years there have been requests just a few times for
Peerless 44-note rolls. For some crazy not-for-profit reason I am
having some of these rolls recut. Since I have to have multiple copies
of each roll made it would be great if anyone needing these rolls would
contact me.

I am having boxes made that are really nice like the originals as well
as having the artwork for the roll duplicated. These 44-note rolls
were recut years ago on a thin paper that has a tendency to wrinkle.
These rolls are being cut now on a heavier paper to eliminate that
problem.

I did a recut project years ago of Wurlitzer APP rolls that now bring
more money than when I sold them. Don't sit by and let this one-time
opportunity pass by you. The original rolls are starting to decompose
just sitting in a box. Help save the music -- I need your original
rolls to copy. We are reading them optically and doing extensive
editing to keep the original Tempo and music intact.

If you haven't noticed, many original rolls by other makers are also
starting to rot so if you have original rolls please consider having
them copied, even Coinola 'O' rolls, 'A' rolls, etc. The roll makers
of today, with the help of computers, do a much better job than those
of forty years ago.
