Hello all, a new 2-part series went online these days: a 13" Kalliope
concert. This is made as a birthday present for Bianca, a nice lady and
very good friend of mine, and her husband Jens. This is a good example
for "mechanical music performances", because while playing the music
box, there is silence, as I know it from most music box videos.
Part 1 you can find here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9OmbTDhkIW8
Part 2 here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0sw4bO8Wvtk
In this series I introduced a transmission in German Internet radio
http://www.ohrfunk.de/ called "Klangfarben" (sound colours) about
music boxes, which will be made by Bianca and me and will most probably
run on May 14th. As soon as we know the exact date, I'll let you know.
Nice greetings go also to Roland von Malmborg in Sweden and Sascha Weber
in Eastern Germany, who asked for Kalliope discs in MMD a few months ago
(I have 2, which I can sell you; please contact me at
jochen.schupper@gmx.de.geentroep, of course without ".geentroep").
Bob Smith: When was your 17-3/4" Kalliope with trading stimulator made?
And now enjoy the 13" Kalliope concert!
Best collector's regards,
Jochen Schäfer (a.k.a. Jochen Kopf)
