Dispersing a Mechanical Music Collection

Thanks, David, you offer good advice as always and your efforts are so appreciated!  I trust the recent flooding did not impact you or your theatre there.

This is a good thread that deals with things over which we have no control.  I face this in things I wish to acquire for my own museum, as well as stuff I have that has no space to display adequately.

A few years back in our genealogical studies we went back to Texas to visit a museum to which, according to the will, a great-grandfather had made the donation we wanted to see on display.  It wasn't anywhere!  When we asked, they said it had been disposed of a long time ago with a bunch of things they just didn't need.  :>(
