Classic Pianos of Portland, Oregon did not give John McClelland correct
information about player pianos in Portland when he inquired about
a Duo-Art Steinway D.  For the past twenty years another dealer, The
Immortal Piano Company, sold reconditioned player pianos and vintage
upright pianos.  Occasionally they sold upright and grand reproducer
pianos.  The owner just this month retired and kept a working player
piano for herself.

To my knowledge there is now no dealer selling players since Immortal
Pianos closed.  Contrary to what Classic reported, there are people
here in the Portland area that work on player pianos.  I guess Classic
Pianos has not been informed about this.  There are two other major
dealers here in Portland, Portland Piano Company and Michelle's Pianos,
but they do not sell players.
