Music Box Slows During Play
By Bill Chapman

The speed during playing a disc on the Regina 15.5" 1895 model
suddenly began slowing down and required winding although it had
been wound recently. I tried another disc with the same problem.
The little rollers turn freely. Curiously, during play the disc speed
began to return back to an almost normal speed. One shiny new disc
slows down similar to an older disc.

I am reluctant to open the case as I have no experience or knowledge
of music boxes. The has worked perfectly for the past year. Any
suggestions will be carefully observed.
