Seek Advice on Pedal-only Duo-Art Instrument
By Ted Wyatt

I am on the lookout for a Duo-Art, preferably a pedal-electric model
but they seem to be hard to find in my area; the pedal only Duo-Arts
are more common.

How difficult are they to use with Duo-Art rolls, as in the correct
pumping to accent the notes on the roll? I assume one does not pump
like crazy for maximum vacuum throughout the roll. Electric Duo-Arts
do come up but I do like the idea of manually pumping the 88-note
rolls.

Any advice on using the 3 Duo-Arts [electric, pedal and pedal-electric]
appreciated.

Ted Wyatt
