List of Rollographies & Compilers
By Jim Blanco

I want to start by saying that I have a new and deep respect for the
work of Bob and Ginny Billings. Their accomplishments are truly
impressive, and a great deal their work was carried without the aid of
modern computers, or the internet, as we know it.

Others have contributed wonderful and meaningful collections of various
companies output, over the course of time.

I am interested in, and have been working on, various rollographies
for the different music roll companies producing 88- and 65-note rolls.
It is a time consuming process even with the tools we have today.

Are you working on rollographies, too? Personally, I wouldn't want
to spend the next 10 or 15 years compiling data for a certain company
only to find that the work has already been done.

I would like to suggest that fellow MMD'ers "put their rollographies
on the table". It would be Ideal (pun intended!) to know --

1. exactly who's working on what;

2. an individual's area of expertise;

3. location and availability of resources for compiling the data
   we're all interested in;

4. people who have more resources than time.

I don't suppose I'll get a landslide of responses, but there are few
enough of those interested in this archival work. Let's get organized!
And, let's not duplicate each others work!
