15.5" Polyphon Musical Box Discs on YouTube
By Jochen Schäfer

Hello dear MMD community, today I uploaded the last video of my new
series, "more 15.5" Polyphon discs", consisting of 4 parts. As usual
for "JochenKopf", all discs are original and only for enjoyment, not
for sale.

The first part is a special introduction, dedicated to my French
collector friend "Organophone" and his great cylinder orchestra
music box, made in 1882, from which I play tune 1 and 9 on the piano.
In the video I present the link to the cylinder music box video, which
"Organophone" recorded especially for me by the way; many thanks for
that -- merci beaucoup. You can find this intro here:
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2xFp0kCWejg It ends with my new
demonstration disc "Edelweiss" by Moritz Peuschel (#1095).

Then come three parts with new disc arrivals. Part 1 with 11 discs
is here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=V59aROUkiJo

Part 2 with 12 discs is here:
  https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=a9dhRIVqC_c

And the last part with 9 discs is here:
  https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9F25K77SB2A

In all parts I gave the links to our German association and the
MMDigest. As usual, many thanks to my dear, sweet, fair and lovely
Polyphon lady, Sandra Kopf, not only for leading the camera; you will
note that we had much fun while producing this new series.

Many nice regards on this way to Sascha Weber and his 13.5" Kalliope
music box, and I wish you much success in getting more discs. In
my opinion, original discs or reproductions of originals are the
best and are also easier to find. (Ich freue mich schon auf eine
akustische Kostprobe Deiner Kalliope -- I look forward to listening
to your Kalliope.) I hope you'll enjoy the new Polyphon uploads, too.

Many nice collector's regards from
Jochen Schäfer, a.k.a. JochenKopf
in Marburg, Germany

PS: The uploaded discs are not for sale, but I have some duplicate
discs which I want to sell. If you are interested in a title list,
please contact me directly: jochen.schupper@gmx.de.geentroep (please
delete ".geentroep" to reply).
