Grandparent's Player Piano in Flemington, NJ
By Richard Friedman

I was wondering if anybody on the list had ties to Flemington,
New Jersey, and remembers buying or working on a player upright that
came from a house directly opposite the famous fairgrounds in that
town. It's probably an impossible question to answer at this point
(it should have been posted many years ago) but it was my grandparent's
piano, which I remember very vaguely from my childhood in the 1960s,
and I've always wondered about the details. In fact, like W. C Field's
"Fatal glass of beer", that curiosity is pretty much what started me
off on my lifelong involvement with pianos.

Thanks,
Richard Friedman
Upstate New York
