It is with great sadness that I have to add to the list of wonderful
people who passed recently. A good friend, Larry Karp, passed away
October 11, 2016, after a ten year battle against cancer. He was 77.
An avid mechanical music appreciator, author, husband, dad and granddad,
Larry was one of the kindest souls I've known. Below is a notice I just
got about a memorial service for him, sent to me by his daughter, Erin.
She wrote, "Please feel free to forward and/or share this information
with anyone who you think would want to know."
There will be a memorial for Larry Karp on Saturday, Nov. 26, 2016, at
1:30 in the afternoon. This event will be held at Kenyon Hall in West
Seattle, a place Larry frequently enjoyed and specifically requested.
The address is 7904 35th Avenue SW, Seattle, WA 98126, and you can
find directions at their website: http://www.kenyonhall.org/
There will be a brief ragtime piano serenade, followed by oral
remembrances and a reception.
Sadly,
