Well, as usual, there are some interesting pianos in the "For Sale
on the Internet" list from the last Digest. Looks like some real
bargains are there, so for those who didn't look, I will try to entice
you! Go to the website to get the links! If I can do this on dial-up,
you should be able to easily do it! Smile!

* Lincoln (New York) player piano -- Free, how can you pass this up?
Looks like a plain Jane upright, case looks very good, pics inside piano
show worn hammers, looks "virgin." Includes bench. In Philadelphia
area.
* Kimball Electramatic "Artist" Spinet player piano, 36" high --
Typical spinet with the top left side roll box. These can have
electronic problems, but for $70? Including 20 QRS rolls (some
Christmas ones); in Marysville, Pennsylvania.
* A. B. Chase player piano -- Another free piano, rather unusual: the
roll box is _under_ the keybed; looks like it tips out when in use.
Cable broken? Artistaino series? Harrisburg (York Springs) area.
* Chas. M. Stieff (Baltimore) player piano plus 100+ rolls -- A
"Bennett-Bretz" player piano with 100+ rolls, $100. In Harrisburg/Bain
(Pennsylvania); older looking rolls.
* Koth-Bayer "Metalnola" (Poughkeepsie) player piano -- Looks like a
nice upright case, "working player" and appears to be a box of rolls
next to it. Nickel plated parts, a sign of a high-quality unit.
* Lester (Pennsylvania) player piano -- This Lester in a plain upright
case is listed as "rebuilt" and electrified for $400 (price is
negotiable), in York, Pennsylvania. They also have 100 rolls available
at $5 a roll.
* Behning & Sons (New York) player piano -- Again, free! Unusual light
finished wood, pedal covers have a large B embossed in them, don't
show much wear. Fuzzy pic, but tracker bar looks like it has extra
holes in it, might be an expression piano. In the York, Pennsylvania,
area, came out of a church.
* Edouard Jules Pianola player piano -- Aeolian player mechanism, doesn't
appear to be a reproducer. $125 in Madison Heights/Lynchburg area.
I hope y'all don't mind me ballyhooing these listings, but I hate
to see good pianos (or potentially good) go to the dumps. On dial-up
Internet service it does take me a bit of time to do this, so if I'm
annoying, I can stop doing it!
Save a Piano -- keep the music playing!
