Player Piano Roll Stutters While Playing
By Ray Fairfield

If a large roll does not wind up tightly on the take-up spool,
somewhere near the end of the roll the roll may intermittently
stop feeding as the take-up spool winds itself tighter, especially
if you are pedalling harder in a fortissimo passage. My Duo-Art
does exactly that on several large rolls.
