* 1926 Cable and Sons player piano, restored -- Here's what appears
to be an upright Cable Euphona unit. They're easy to rebuild, used
gaskets on all pneumatic glue joints, with 90 rolls and an electric
pump. If the pump is original this might be a Recordo Expression
piano; the pictures and detail are too sketchy to tell.
* 1926 Cable and Sons player piano -- restored in 1986, with 50 QRS
rolls, for $500; you can't touch a restoration for that price!
* Baldwin Manualo (Howard) player piano -- 1917 Howard Manulo, appears
to have some electrics added; maybe a vacuum motor? Otherwise it
appears untouched & needs full restoration, $100.
* Player piano (stlouis.craigslist) -- A real unknown here, no photo,
but includes "many music cylinders"!
* Player piano (holland.craigslist) -- Unknown upright, but has been
In the family at least one generation, plain case, $50.
* Dayton "Autostyle" (Cincinnati) player piano -- plus 47 rolls for
$99! The roll cabinet is likely worth more than that! The roll
cabinet with it, though not mentioned in the description, is unknown
condition, from storage.
* 1920s Aeolian player piano -- with over 100 red labeled QRS rolls,
is priced a bit steep at $200 OBO, so might be available for much less.
I can't tell from the photos if it's a reproducer.
Okay, y'all pass the word along: save a piano! Smile!
