Seek Art Case Steinway Duo-Art for Museum Showing
By John Thalman
The Cleveland Museum of Art is creating a showing of Jazz Age artifacts
and seeks someone who owns a Steinway Duo-Art in Art Case to lend it
for a temporary showing. The Museum has an $800 million endowment and
will pay for shipping and insurance to bring it to the Museum and
display and have it played as part of this unique showing event.
They are showing items developed in the 1920's with unique craftsmanship
combined with the advanced engineering and creativity of the day. Among
the other items are Cord coupe aero design auto and Rolls Royce laundalet
town car, and art deco furnishings.
Someone with a Steinway Duo Art in a fully restored Art Case willing
to have it on display and played in a special showing at the Museum
in Cleveland, Ohio, is sought with full credit to the owner and owner
present if owner would like to be in attendance. Please respond with
email and picture to me.
