AMICA Bulletin Sep-Oct 2016 Edition Published
By Glenn Thomas
The September / October, 2016 issue of The AMICA Bulletin has just
been published. This 64-page color journal's main feature is the
Rudolph Wurlitzer Company. Three articles provide a detailed history
of the Company (by Matt Jaro); a trip through the company's archival
history via Mechanical Music Press (by Art Reblitz and Terry Hathaway);
and a picture story about the Wurlitzer factory in North Tonawanda,
New York (by Glenn Thomas).
But wait, there's more! Nathan Bello takes a trip through Arranging
for the Seeburg H Orchestrion; Matt Jaro adds a contemporary view of
the Seeburg H, and Peter Phillips reveals all about Expression and
Reproducing Rolls!
