Hello. I am a curator developing an art exhibition for ArtPrize
in Grand Rapids, Michigan. The artist I am working with needs
a working 88-note upright player piano that is electrified. The
artist has created her own paper roll to play for the piece.
We are not in need of anything beautiful -- in fact, the more
antique the piano looks the better. It also does not have to
operate at 100 percent but it does need to be able to play the roll.
We are also looking for someone somewhat local, or at least in
Michigan. We have a budget to move the piano professionally and
pay a renter's fee. We are not necessarily looking to buy, just
receive one on loan for the duration of the exhibit (although we
will consider purchasing if need be). We'll need it September 10
through October 10, 2016.
We understand working players are difficult to come by. We will
publicly and very graciously thank whoever is able to loan a piano
like this to us for the project. Any questions, please call me at
1-815-351-4715 or email alisonerazmus3@gmail.com.geentroep [delete
".geentroep" to reply]. Thanks for your time.
Best,
Alison Erazmus
