Newest Band Organ at American Treasure Tour
By Andrew Lardieri
Today I dropped by the American Treasure Tour/Neilson collection
with the Lady Liberty and Southern California chapters of AMICA as part
of our 2016 convention in Princeton, New Jersey. Seated there between
the former Carrousel Music Wurlitzer 165 and the Westview 165 (#3601)
is an incredibly rare surviving Wurlitzer Style 175 which is the last
known model ever made by Wurlitzer to play Style 165 music rolls.
The Carrousel Music Wurlitzer 165 now also has the two figures from
a Seeburg H, nicknamed "Strength & Beauty", seated on each diminutive
platform between the swells as well as the Carrousel Music logo painted
of top of the facade's crest.
