Greetings all, I recently looked at a Universal player piano, model
P-2, built sometime in the 1970s(?). It needs a stack rebuild --
half the notes don't play and it is only pulling 15 inches water gage
under full throttle. The leaks are quite obvious when a tracker bar
tube is off and you are within two feet of the stack: the pouches
(and who knows what else) are dead, lots of hissing and inertia.
If there is anyone in our community that would like to rebuild the
stack (new pouches, striker pneumatic cloth, valve facings) and has
an open slot in their shop schedule relatively soon, please contact me
privately (leave off the geentroep), so we can discuss the situation
in greater detail.
Thanks and cheers,
