Seek Brass Nameplate Reproduction
By Fred Dahlinger

I would appreciate contact from collectors or restorers who have
recently had cast brass nameplates or the equivalent reproduced.
I have one measuring 1/8" thick by 1-11/16" by 3-3/8" which I desire
to copy for a restoration. It has raised letters and a surrounding
raised edge. The background is recessed about 1/2 the thickness.

What methods are available today and who is doing the work? Others
have mentioned lost wax, CNC, 3D printing and so on, but has anyone
actually had something made in brass recently?

Thanks,
Fred Dahlinger
