Seek Duo-Art Soft Pedal Shifter Lever
By Robert Stout

Last June 18 I sent a request to MMD to see if anyone had a derelict
Duo-Art grand that the soft pedal shifter lever could be salvaged
from. I know these messages can get lost over time so I thought I
would list a way people could get in touch with me if they found this
part in the future, but forgot who was asking for it. I am currently
the vice-president of the Heart of America chapter of AMICA, based in
Kansas City, Missouri. I was president for four years before that.
While current AMICA bulletins only list the contact info for the
president, if you have back copies before October 2015 you can find
my contact info there.

Incidentally, there was a recent post about an abandoned mansion in
New York that had a player organ console in it. Looking at the
pictures, I saw two grand pianos in one room, and a close up of one
of them allowed me to see that it is a Weber Duo-Art with the keyslip
and control levers missing, and also the pedal lyre is gone. Too bad
there is no way to reach out to someone who could see about salvaging
parts from it.

Thanks,
Robert (Bob) Stout
