FS: Player Organs & Pianos & Rolls in Vermont
By Robert Pelletier
I'm posting this message on behalf of Byron Gabaree, who does not
have access to the web. He's trying to dispose of a large collection
of player pianos (uprights and grands) and including a 1930s Wicks
church pipe organ which has been transformed into a player organ with
a "home-brew" 88-note player piano mechanism. The organ is enclosed
in two swell chambers and has 11 ranks (original specs are available).
It is in playing condition.
In addition to several non-player parlor-type reed organs there are
several melodeons (e.g., Estey and Green), a model 1500 Aeolian player
reed organ (plays 46-note rolls) in need of restoration, as well as an
impressive Vocalion 2MP reed organ (non-player) with stenciled pipe top
in playing condition.
There are several hundred Ampico rolls in boxes in excellent condition
(including several enormous "Dinner Music" rolls and Christmas rolls),
and an assortment of QRS and other 88-notes rolls in good condition.
This collection must be disposed of as soon as possible. Telephone
1-802-872-8894. Located south of Burlington, Vermont.
