Dear All, In Digest 2016.06.01 Robbie asks for identification of
five waltzes, the title and composer information for four of them
subsequently having been correctly submitted by Gilles Chouinard
and Dale Rowe. The fifth waltz is "Choristers Waltz" by Bernard
Phelps, which enjoyed a popularity for some years although it is
largely forgotten today.
Interestingly, this particular medley of five waltzes was possibly
published initially as sheet music -- I have an Otto Higel piano roll
of this same medley which, although it varies slightly in regard to
the exact musical notation, the musical arrangement and phrasing is
exactly the same. The Otto Higel roll details are 03934 "Popular
Favorite Series -- Waltzes", arranged by Ellis Linder.
