I would just like to add my thanks to both Kelly Goodman for posting
the request, and to Frank Himpsl for his quick response in identifying
the songs.  This indeed has been an ongoing mystery over the years.
The uploaded song samples are from a cassette tape made back in 1969
and is a small miracle in itself that it still plays!  I loved the
arrangements of these tunes and kept the tape all this time.

My guess is that the piano was a Cremona A or Seeburg A.  It sat close
to the entrance of San Francisco's Mission Piano Company, giving ear
candy to passers-by for a dime.  But the roll never played all the way
through.  It would get as far as the intro to "Quien A Hierro Mata",
then rewind and play the ending of "La Norteña".  It's nice to know
what other songs were on that roll.
