Hi, in 160523 MMDigest Don Mayer is asking for an evaluation of this
music box.  I did not read whether the music box played or not but
I will assume that it does.  If so, this music box has a lot going for
it.  It has inlay on the top and the front along with the tune card.
It has drum and bells with some very nice tunes.

As it is, requiring some repair and cleaning, I would estimate that
the fair market price today would be between $1200 and $1500.  I based
it on the fact that it would require an additional $1200 to $1400 to
bring it back into new condition.  The total outlay then would be
around $2900 and would result in a very nice collectible music box.
