We have collected Mexican music rolls of all types over the years:
styles "O", "A", "G" "APP", etc.  We absolutely love Mexican music
but we have never heard a roll like this one before.  The roll is
so unique and rare that it is truly deserving of being recut.  In
the "Samples" section on the website, under "Audio", you can hear
samples of two 2 files from the roll.

Many weeks were spent in piecing together and taping carefully-preserved
paper fragments of this very damaged roll to produce for you what we
are sure you will agree is the most musical Mexican roll ever cut.
A very special thank you to Carl Lambie for all of his work in helping
to save this extraordinarily rare roll.

Not your typical Mexican roll with paso dobles and marcias, nor the
"Borderland Specials" frequently found, this roll was obviously
produced for the real bordello market in Mexico.  Most of the tunes
have a really romantic and emotional quality to them not found in
other Mexican selections of the period.  If you want to secure a copy,
I suggest that you order right away as there are only 6 copies left.
The others were gone before we could even get this roll up and the
notice sent out.  When these are gone, we have no plans to make
another run.
