Legendary restorer/collector/roll cutter Don Rand passed away Saturday
night at the age of 71. No funeral is planned.
This is a great loss for all of us, who appreciated his contributions
to our hobby and profession. His series of "Collector's Classics"
88-note rolls, done in the late 1970s and '80s, were examples of
quality rolls with quality popular music. He also turned out numerous
"A", "G", and "Link RX" rolls as well as a few others. He will be
missed.
