I think the raw numbers there are not the relevant items.  Lists that
I am on about other topics have noted lower use levels, but there is
always a steady base of people finding the information very valuable
and finding these lists and the experience and wisdom offered by
members when there is a new inquiry especially rewarding.

One list on classic computer issues may have only two or three messages
per month, but those questions get answered by people with experience
going back to the dawn of time (1982 or so in home computer terms!).
