Hello Scotty, A few weeks ago I visited Taylor Miller at Taylor Miller
Organ Co. in York, Pennsylvania. This man has been salvaging pipe
organs of all types for around 40 years and he has a 3-story warehouse
jammed full of all types of organ parts. He told me that he built 7
Wurlitzer replica band organs in recent years, and he provided me with
some valuable advice in working on my band organ.
Take a look at his website http://www.pipeorgantrader.com/ and scroll
through _all_ of his department links. You will see the vast amount
of material he has in stock including pipes, swell shades, swell shade
motors, etc. etc.
His address and phone is listed under "Terms and Conditions". He has
four employees building and maintaining organs and supplies parts for
organs worldwide. He also has an amazing library of technical books
on many types of organs.
Good luck with your restoration. We had planned to come to see the
DeBence museum this past summer, but participation in another organ
rally conflicted with the dates. Maybe we can come in another year.
