Yes, you've named the Geneva stop correctly. I can't see the ratchet
under the spring barrel gear without you removing the spring barrel and
letting use see the _type_ of ratchet assembly there. There are quite
a few different types!
In both cases there are no 'parts' available. You have to have a
junker donor box to get parts from. I just got in a bunch of this
type of movement and most of them were missing the male Geneva. You
can _repair_ your male Geneva if you have the right tools. You can
grind or file off the remaining part of the 'protrusion', drill a hole
in the center of the cleared area, and insert a piece of drill wire
into it. Solder it in place and shape it to fit.
As for your other problem, I can't address that until we see what type
it is.
