I recently was given some parts to a dismantled Baldwin
Manualo that are rather unusual. From what I can discern it was
a motorized piano, with a Recordo style expression system, that
was called "Manualized".
In the roll box are switches for "Electric - In Off - Out On" and
a lever that is labeled, "Special - Off - Manualized," and "Roll
Regulator Auto - Hand."
Tracking is by large ears above the tracker bar. The tracker bar
itself has the usual Recordo elongated holes on each end, and also
has "ears" on each end of the bar that the paper goes under. This
box also has the late Baldwin "frameless" transmission.
I bring this up as I have not seen such ears before, and I wasn't
aware of any Manualo units with a Recordo system.
