Are you in need of a Carousel Sound System? This program which is
intended to be run from a touch-screen operator-interface gives you all
the necessary features to have a complete Carousel Sound System.
The program gives the starting and (optional) ending rider messages,
plays individual or lists of MIDIs and/or MP-3 songs, randomized or not
randomized playing of song lists, music control buttons (play, stop,
and pause), three-and-half-minute timer for playing music during a
carousel ride (can be adjusted upon request), five-minute countdown
timer between carousel rides, and many more features described in the
operating manual. In addition, there is a song-list editor
incorporated into the program to make it very easy to create song
lists.
The program is written in Visual Basic 6 and runs on XP, Vista and
Windows 7. The program was developed by me and is used at the
Kingsport, Tennessee, carousel. The program can be downloaded at
