carousel was with Philadelphia Toboggan Company #48. The park closed

After a long search through the wonderful database of Wurlitzer Band
Organ Ledgers compiled by Mike Schoeppner, Jack Conway, and Matthew
Caulfield, I finally tracked it down. Shipped in January of 1925 as a
Wurlitzer model 146 band organ (golden oak case), this instrument
presumably remained with the carousel until the tragic fire of 1958,
which completely destroyed the carousel (PTC#48) and significantly
damaged the nearby roller coaster.
