In response to Dave Wilcox's request for MIDI type 1 to 0 conversion
software, the utility can usually be found at http://www.gnmidi.com/ 
However, in checking that site this morning it appears to be off the
air, hopefully only temporarily.  Dave, if you are in need of the
software right away contact me and I can email you a zip file
containing both a "ReadMe" file and the executable files.
