I want to express my appreciation for all the good information
I have found in MMDigest concerning the restoration of my fledging
collection of Karl Griesbaum whistlers. I have recently, successfully,
restored the bellows on my first whistler and I decided to video
document the process I used.
I created a nine-part video series that describes the entire
restoration process, including fabrication and installation of new
silicon valves to replace the old internal "paper" valves. I hope
they can help others to restore or understand what is involved in
bringing the old whistlers back to life.
The first video can be found using the following link:
https://youtu.be/WUD_mt9KDes
The rest can be found on my channel and have the same title as the
first except the roman numeral at the end goes from I, II, ... IX.
Enjoy!
