Paper Seal Around Duo-Art Roll
By Randy Hayno

Larry Norman said he has never seen a paper seal on a Duo-Art roll.
Well, now you have! I bought a Duo-Art piano and with it came boxes
of rolls with paper seals around them. Most of these rolls had never
been played and the seals were intact. The rolls were cut by the
Automatic Music Roll Company, P. O. Box 3194, Seattle, Washington.

These are some of the most beautifully made rolls and boxes I've ever
seen. The boxes appear to have been coated with shellac. The heavy
plastic spool ends have the words "Bush & Lane, Cecilian" molded into
them. The paper seals were glued around the rolls with the words
"To break seal pull here".
