Seek Parts for 1927 Hampton "Reprotone"
By Brian Schasel

Hello, MMD group. My name is Brian Schasel and I am a new subscriber
who has recently inherited my grandparents' Hampton "Reprotone" 88-note
player piano. My grandparents had the player portion rebuilt about
30 years ago and it works very nicely but the restorer removed a couple
of items that I would like to put back.

First, I seem to remember there being a key lock and there is a slot
in the key bed which suggests it was there originally, but with all the
keys removed for some piano action work I'm not seeing where it would
have been attached when it was present.

Second, the restorer removed the ukulele rail although the switch
remains in the spool box and I would very much like to put it back.
I would greatly appreciate any help in finding replacements for these
lost parts and information on how they were originally installed.

Thanks,
Brian Schasel
