Just in time for summer, four newly-arranged Wurlitzer Style 165
band organ rolls are now available. Two are variety "carousel
rolls" with many familiar fox trots, waltzes, marches and rags,
all arranged by Andy Park reminiscent of Wurlitzer's 1920s style.
One is a special request tango roll that will surprise you with
several familiar tangos and great arrangements by Andy Park.
Lastly, one is a re-creation by Mikey Mills of original Wurlitzer
march and waltz roll 6614 from the early 1920s. The only known
original copy of 6614 disappeared from the Ross Davis, California,
roll library sometime before 1965, but the original box label was
preserved, and a copy will be placed on one side of the roll box
of the re-created roll. Arranger Mikey Mills has carefully studied
Wurlitzer's period styles, and this roll is a reconstructed version
of what Wurlitzer's arrangement probably sounded like.
Information and some audio recordings of tunes are here (audio
samples may not load correctly on a Chrome browser, but are okay
on all other web browsers):

Rolls are $85 each plus $6 shipping. All revenue after costs go to
the arrangers. Rolls are professionally perforated by Play-Rite Music,
Turlock, California. Several "preview" recipients of these tunes have
been very complimentary.
A second release of more 165 rolls is planned for later in the summer
or fall with more superb tunes and some surprises!
