Hi all,  I have run into some difficulties with an electric motor from
a 5-foot 1925 Marshall & Wendell Ampico grand.  The electric motor is
the type with the elongated oil reservoirs around the front and rear
of the motor (also used for mounting purposes).  The starter winding
either doesn't want to engage or doesn't want to disengage.

The motor is currently at a reputable motor rebuilding shop in the area
but they are unable to find another suitable starting mechanism.  Does
anyone have a "donor" motor with a good starting mechanism, or else a
replacement motor?  The HP is the usual 1/8 or 1/10 horsepower.
