The USA entered WW1 in 1917. Here at Keystone Music we have been
busy re-cutting many great tunes from the 1914-1919 period. Most
are 88-note but there are and will be Ampico and Duo-Art titles.
All will be word rolls! After all, there is no point in re-issuing
these wonderful topical tunes without words: one steps, fox trots,
jazz and rags. Here are some of the titles, just to name a few:
America I Love You
Somewhere in France is a Lily
We Don't Want the Bacon, Just a Piece of the Rhine
Ragtime Sailor Man
Smiles
Goodbye Broadway, Hello, France
I May be Gone for a Long Long Time
We're Going Over
Liberty Bell
Yanks Are At It Again
When Alexander Takes His Ragtime Band to France
Tom, Dick, Harry, & Jack
Keep Cool, The Country's Saving Fuel
Just Like Washington Crossed the Delaware,
General Pershing Will Cross the Rhine
General Pershing March
Hello Central, Give Me no Man's Land
If He Can Fight, Like He Can Love, Good Night Germany
The Yanks Started Yankin'
Uncle Sammy
For Your Boy and My Boy
K-K-K-Katy
Oh! How I Hate to Get up in The Morning
Over There
Till We Meet Again
Aloha Soldier Boy
How Ya' Gonna Keep "em Down on the Farm
Wait 'til You Get 'Em up in the Air Boys
The Last Long Mile
I've Got My Captain Working For Me Now
We also are cutting a bunch of Prohibition (Volstead Act 1919) related
songs, blues tunes, novelty numbers -- all great for singing!
